Pain Management

Physiotherapists are vital in the treatment of both acute and chronic pain. At our hospital, we do a comprehensive examination and then work with you to arrange your treatment. This is done to assist you in reducing discomfort and addressing the underlying causes of your symptoms in order to prevent a recurrence. Soft tissue massage and stretching to relieve tension and spasm, joint mobilizations, acupuncture, electrotherapy, corrective exercise, posture awareness, and counseling on how to handle the discomfort in daily activities are all examples of physiotherapy treatment. We will also assist you in determining the source of your discomfort. To eradicate or control the pain we offer:

  • Manual Therapy: Manual therapy is a hands-on type of physiotherapy that is ideal for persons who are recuperating from an accident or seeking relief from persistent pain. To reduce pain and enhance healing, our therapists move joints and provide pressure to muscles.
  • Cupping: A technique in which a therapist places special cups on your skin for a few minutes to produce suction. People receive it for a variety of reasons, including pain relief, inflammation relief, increased blood flow, relaxation and well-being, and as a sort of deep-tissue massage.
  • Taping: Physiotherapists often employ taping to adjust muscle tone, move lymphatic fluids, correct movement patterns, and improve posture. Kinesiology tape is a type of therapeutic tape that is applied to the body to relieve pain, edema, and increase functioning.
  • Needling: a technique in which a professionally trained physical therapist uses a small needle to alleviate muscular tension, relieve tendinitis and inflammation, and/or promote healing.
