Dr (Prof) (Brig) Satish Chandra Mishra, Chairman of Cardiac Sciences Park Group of Hospitals is a distinguished cardiologist with over 38 years of expertise in the field of medicine. A graduate of Armed Forces Medical College, he holds a degree of MD in Medicine from Delhi University and a post-doctoral degree of DM in Cardiology, along with prestigious Fellowships from the American College of Cardiology (FACC) and the Society for Cardiovascular Angiography and Interventions (FSCAI). Renowned for his skills in complex cardiac procedures, including angioplasties, valve interventions, and structural heart treatments, Dr (Prof) (Brig) Satish Chandra Mishra is a keen researcher, prolific author and a renowned speaker. · He has headed Cardiology Departments at the largest Indian Air Force hospital, that is, at Bengaluru) at the largest Zonal Hospital of the Indian Air Force, at Kanpur and c) at the prestigious AICTS-Army Institute of Cardio-Thoracic Sciences (Erstwhile-MH-CTC) at Pune. And served as a Senior Cardiologist at Base Hospital Delhi Cantt (2011-2015). Vast experience in administration, covering diverse areas of healthcare and clinical services in Armed Forces.
· He was scrambled and launched as the Medical Team Leader of emergency Air Force rescue mission at Charkhi-Dadri after the mid-air collision between Kazakhstan and Saudi Arabian Airlines in Nov 1996.
· Authored Standard treatment guidelines on ‘Hypertension’ and on ‘Myocardial Infarction’ for Indian health services (for Ministry of Health and Family Welfare) 2007.
· He has been the Aviation Medicine Instructor and examiner for pilots (after obtaining training in Aviation Medicine early in my medical career) in Indian Air Force. He has compiled a comprehensive MCQ bank in Aviation Medicine from the syllabus for Pilots in 1989.
